The three options, honestly ranked

1. Do not bring a car. The station is two minutes away, it reaches Manhattan in eighteen minutes, and both airports are reachable without one. A car in this neighbourhood is a thing you spend twenty minutes a day moving. This is the recommendation and we would rather give it than take a booking you regret.
2. Street parking. Metered on 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue during the day, free overnight and at weekends. The residential blocks north of 39th Avenue are free but genuinely competitive after six in the evening, and the alternate-side cleaning rules are enforced. Read the sign, then read it again; they are not intuitive and the fine is more than a night in the Snug.
3. The garage on Roosevelt Avenue. About six minutes' walk, paid, roughly thirty to forty dollars for twenty-four hours depending on the day. We have no arrangement with them and no discount to offer, which is why there is no code on this page.

Loading and unloading

You can stop outside the door on 61st Street long enough to take bags out of a car, and somebody will help you carry them in. You cannot leave a car there. There is no forecourt, no lay-by and no dropped kerb.

Charging an electric car

Not here. There is no charger at this building and no socket we can run a cable from. There are public chargers in the neighbourhood; the desk will tell you where the nearest working one was the last time anybody checked, which is a more honest offer than a map that goes out of date.

The things this inn does not have. No restaurant, no room service, no lift, no car park, no gym and no pool. The page that lists what we do not have exists so that nobody discovers one of them on arrival.
